CHICKEN & RICE

The easiest & cheapest recipe for chicken & rice ever. This is our go-to yummy but balanced (and honestly probably too packed with sodium) meal for dinner and then lunches the next day.

Serves 2-4

INGREDIENTS

- 1 12.5oz Can of Costco Chunk Chicken Breast
- 1 Pack Knorr Chicken Flavor Rice
- Salt
- Water

INSTRUCTIONS

- Into a saucepan, empty rice package & can of chicken *don't drain the chicken*. 

- Fill empty chicken can with water & add to saucepan. 

- Salt to taste. I normally do 1-2 light layers over the whole pot. 

- Follow cooking instructions on rice package. 
    - Stir. Boil. Reduce heat & simmer 7 min. 

PAIR WITH

- Microwave steamable bagged frozen broccoli or peas.

- Frozen Mirowave Steamable Brocolli ~$1
